Papilio zelicaon

Observation date: March 02, 2021
Submitted by: zencoyote
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Seen in a sunny, wind-sheltered glen, a small forest of Lemonadeberry (Rhus), which is also a favorite home to Mourning Cloaks and occasional Red Admirals or Ladies (Sometimes Monarchs). Today the Mourning Cloak was also there, and the two of them circled each other warily. Temps: high 60's, clear and a little breezy.
