Observation notes: Seen exposed on stem of what I believe to be golden yarrow, in chaparral adjacent to a narrow riparian area. Very resistant to motion, and when I investigated further, it appeared that there was a second individual attached abdomen-to-abdomen. Hard to see, but there are small black spots on the white wings.
