Observation notes: Attracted to MV lamp set up in dirt road surrounding by 100-year-old wetland forest dominated by Sweet Gum and Southern Red, White and Willow Oaks. Estimated wingspan of 44 mm based on measurements of winglength (base to apex) and thorax width (L base to R base); second uploaded photo explains exactly how these two measurements were taken, superimposed over an actual measurement shot of the moth at rest. Apparent body length of 22.5 mm.
