Observation notes: It rained this day. The moth was in this location under our awning by 1pm and remained there until about 5pm. It was extremely still when bothered, to the point that I thought it might be dead. I gently knocked it off the awning at which point it fluttered to the ground and began flickering its wings, I assume to appear aggressive. Eventually, it flew away.
