Observation notes: Poor thing is dying. I moved it off the concrete so the birds don't eat it. It's resting in the shade on a patio chair. I am sure it's quite common in SE Texas as I know I've seen it before, and you probably have lots of pictures but I thought I'd add one more for prosterity. It turned quite chilly overnight in this part of the state; yesterday was in the high eighties and humid, today is starting off in the 50s/60s with low humidity. A rain/cold front chilled things down lat night around 1am.
