The genus Euagrotis is now considered a subgenus of Anicla by Don Lafontaine and others, so all species of Euagrotis were moved to Anicla.
Acronicta pruni was sunk into a form of Acronicta clarescens by Forbes (Franclemont) in 1954, though this change has been missed in much of the literature since. Our database has been updated to move A. pruni to Acronicta clarescens.
The spelling of the genus for the Plebeian Sphinx was corrected from Paratrea to Paratraea.
