Observation notes: Sunny afternoon, calm to light breeze. It flew around within a few-hundred-feet area in a well-vegetated rural yard and landed on a Buddleia outside the kitchen window, working the blossoms. It flew off when I tried to photograph it, then immediately afterwords, from indoors, I spotted it on the Buddleia again and photographed it through the kitchen window. Flight was strong, fairly direct, and not fluttery. I saw only one.
