Observation notes: The butterfly rested, lofted briefly and returned to nearly the same twig and leaf of a tree about a yard above my head. Might the nodules on the leaves to the right be eggs for this species? The morning was warm and humid -- approximately 75 - 78 degrees Fahrenheit. There was no breeze when I was near this tree.
