Observation notes: "... orange-brown above, with a black, zigzagging line in the middle and a row of black dots and 2 black lines at the outer margins" (NWF Field Guide). Confirming w/ http://butterfliesofamerica.com/euptoieta_claudia_live1.htm. My image even matches this image where the outer margin have a missing black dot. Fascinating!
