Observation notes: I found this little one as a very young cat on Queen Anne's Lace--the first plant I searched (and never saw any others that summer). Our disabled pet tiger swallowtail had just died and we wanted another swallowtail to raise! She grew big and fat (as you can see) and emerged in late August, at which point we released her. I have better adult pictures of her on my phone if needed.
