Observation notes: Subtle white band traversing the ventral FW suggests an intergrade between the two subspecies. Monroe County is definitely within the "blend zone" of genetics between these two subspecies, however this is the first time I've personally ever seen one of these examples. I'm not sure if there is a category on BAMONA for these, or if they fall under the blanket species name "Red-spotted Admiral."
