Coordinator notes: Extremely difficult to delineate Pearl vs. Northern Crescents, particularly females (in this case), which can be nearly impossible. Male Pearls usually have solid black antenna clubs, but not always. Females often have orange tips in both species, so it is an unreliable feature to use for an ID. The lighter orangish-brown markings on the ventral HW, as well as lack of darker markings on the ventral FW would favor P. cocyta, however I can't confirm this ID with 100% certainty. -jmgesell
