Coordinator notes: Not a Painted Lady. Snouts invaded Southern California and Nevada last fall and this appears to be a winter survivor and possibly an EARLY season record for Nevada. I saw hundreds of these in the Tehachapi Mountains last October and at least 3 in the Sierra Nevada November 1st. Normally, they tend to be very rare in both states...Ken Davenport
