Observation notes: Was feeding on a Rabbit Brush plant at a pullout on Highway 108, a couple miles west of Sonora Pass. Elevation was close to 8800 ft. Flower was partially spent. Insect stayed very long on the flower feeding on sticky material on flower. Weather: partly cloudy, low 60's, light breeze.
