Observation notes: Individual nectaring from whorled milkweed flowers in the floodplain of the Rio Grande. This species moves slowly from flower-to-flower, collects pollen packets (pollinia/pollinaria) on its legs, and is likely a pollinator of milkweeds. Dark yellow, globose organisms among the flowers may be observed and are oleander aphids. The mid-day was hot and under full sunshine.
