Observation notes: A few of these butterflies were visiting plants, and very difficult to photograph with an iPhone- they were very fast and defensively aware of my presence. Interesting behavior though: they were attracted to the blue color of my faded jeans, and only visiting green flowers. A few darted circles around my legs and nearly landed on them until they decided it wasn’t worth it.
