Observation notes: This is the first time in approx 7 years I have seen one in my area. I have had 3 sightings first 2 weeks of August. Warm sunny day, found it feeding only on Joe Pye Weed although there are many nectar plants on property. Sighted one at neighbor's on Coreopsis 2 weeks prior (no photo of that one)
