Observation notes: Where I only have picture of one, I found a total of 3 what I believe to be Eyed Hawk Moth caterpillars. They were found resting and eating off of Physocarpus, commonly known as ninebark and are part of the Rosaceae family. From what I've read, they seem to only commonly be found in Europe, where as I found these three where I work in Kalispell, Montana, USA. It was a cloudy cool day today, and they were very active in eating.
