Observation notes: Originally sighted on a porch railing and was on railing from 4am-9am. At 9am it fell onto the seat of the chair where it has remained (it is now 8:30pm). It seems to be dormant unless agitated then it will spread out. Maple trees in area, weather was mid-60's and humid to mid 80's during day.
