Observation notes: Observed while birding on Willow Lake Unit of Catahoula National Wildlife Refuge in La Salle Parish. Habitat: weedy/grassy meadow w/ wildflowers, across the road from second-growth bottomland hardwoods. Conditions: approx. mid-morning, warm/hot, sunny, light breeze. More sulphur-type butterflies present on this trip to WL Unit, but couldn't photo/i.d. them.
