Observation notes: Habitat: residential area adjacent to mixed pine-hardwoods, brushy and open areas. Conditions: hot, sunny. Butterfly nectaring on (orange-yellow) Lantana. Had seen this butterfly around at this location for some days, usually briefly visiting Wisteria or Japanese Honeysuckle, but this was the first time I had a chance to photograph it.
