Subfamily: Olethreutinae
Identification: Forewing powdery light gray; dark brown basal blotch has straight outer edge. Note the large, dark brown trapezoidal patch near forewing apex, narrowing toward outer margin.
Wing Span: 1.5-1.8cm.
Life History:
Flight: June-July.
Caterpillar Hosts: Hydrangea.
