Observation notes: The caterpillar was on a 4 foot tall strawflower (daisy family) in Bridgewater, MA. in a cultivated flower bed. Sunny day in the 70s. Caterpillar reacted to changes in motion and shadow, but barely moved. Looks like it might be ready to pupate?
