Observation notes: This was resting on the siding under the light on my patio. When I put my finger under it, the moth became agitated and very aggressive and seemed to attack my finger. It clearly looked like it was trying to bite my finger over and over while also flapping its wings very rapidly but not flying, perhaps in an intimidation technique before flying a short distance away and resting on the ground. Very interesting.
