Observation notes: This moth was sitting on the concrete driveway in the Carney, Maryland area. I have lived in this area all my life (45 years) and have never seen a moth like this that I can remember.It was about 78 degrees and sunny, no plants in the immediate vicinity of 15 feet aside from grass/lawn.
