Coordinator notes: Nice picture of a male Northern Checkerspot on an aster flower - that may well be the host plant for this butterfly behind that gardenstore (in Norwood or Naturita?) All of our Fritillaries have individual silver spot on the underside of the hindwings (hence the reason they have also been called commonly called "silver-spots."
