Observation notes: Found in afternoon in backyard garden. Was flying with an eratic darting motion around plants, circling and returning to the similar locations. Would land on lavender plant and sit there, but did not want to open wings,(hence the single blurry image of the open wings). Eventually flew away over the fence, but stayed flying around for approximately 10 minutes. Sunny outside, warm weather.
