Observation notes: Saw several of these flying about on some tall grasses in the Boulder Open Spaces. Partly cloudy skies, 91 degrees.

Coordinator notes: Second (summer) flight. The correct species is Lycaena thoe (see Scott, 2008 (Papilio #20, publication privately published; also Fisher (2009) - Butterflies of Colorado Part 4).
