Observation notes: Drifted into the yard fairly early and hung around the mimosa tree, sipping on the blooms. This day was already hot @ 97F/34% humility, and SW@15. It would go on to 207F. It only was seen for approximately 15min. It’s been EXTREMELY dry here and very little butterflies.

Coordinator notes: James, it's great to get your observation. in your area, there's a 50/50 chance of seeing Giant vs Western Giant, so I had to check several marks. in the end I agree with you. too bad conditions are so poor. let's hope for a good monsoon starting right now!
