Observation notes: This is only my second sighting of this moth - not far from here in July 2020. It's maddeningly difficult to photograph. It's small, not easily approached, tends to hide and I swear it can hear the camera beep when it autofocuses! Spruce, Subalpine Fir and Lodgepole Pine forest. The actual sighting location could be up to 2 km either way along the road from the indicated location.
