Coordinator notes: In the mountains at much higher elevation, Persius is the common Duskywing...Afranius primarily on the high plains and in the foothills of the Front Range early in the year (April to early June) and again (second flight) in late July into September (has grayer-scaled forewings and more pinpoint spots toward the margin (outer edge) on the underside of the hindwings.
