Observation notes: Two day search of the desert area in Imperial County, Even Mark said there was very little flying. This Meeting the guys and a red-Diamondback were the surprises, oh except that very little was flying. Giant Swallowtail one, Checkered White a few, Painted lady, funeral dusky, Tiny Checkered spot , Two Blue species, to be Id. at some point. Queen. az powered skipper, common checkered skipper. Read your report about things being late, I hope that's the case here also. Brett and I were very surprised to see this one. We thought it was Duranties until I could see the blue green. been hoping to have these come back to Calif. for a very long time. lifer for Brett. I got one last year in Mission Tx.
