Coordinator notes: Correct ID...a newly emerged male...genetics shows that the subarctic populations assigned to tullia are actually all related to the oldest name Coenonympha californica. Tullia is a distinct species but occurs in North America only in the far reaches of Alaska and the Holarctic region (the Old World). Mike
