Observation notes: Clearly worn. Are the black basal spots just worn off scales or are they the distance markings of a Little? Otherwise crisp small black spots on hindwing and one on forewing consistent with Mimosa. This is the other side of the same butterfly photographed by a friend and just id'd as a Mimosa. (Sighting 1290774). We had thought it was likely a Little due to the spots. But could a worn Mimosa have a semblance of spots basally?
