Observation notes: Saw just 1 sipping from damp ground along with more abundant Phyciodes pulchella, Plebejus icarioides, Erynnis persius. Seldom used former logging road through Ponderosa Pine, Douglas-fir forest. Sunny. Temp about 30 C.
