Observation notes: Found around 3800’ elevation. Caught perching on large bush with magenta purple blossoms in cascade canyon. Temperature was high 60’s and was a sunny day.

Coordinator notes: Yes, it is a Bramble Hairstreak, Callophrys dumetorum perplexa, BAMONA has not yet recognized Callophrys viridis and is still calling them dumetorum...It is viridis that is the Coastal Green Hairstreak but NABA calls both dumetorum....Ken Davenport
