Observation notes: Numerous individuals were flying along the corduroy road leading through the swamp from the parking area on Fillmore Road to the east. Many more were seen for about a half mile on the two-track leading from the end of the corduroy road to the southeast, following along the edge of the swamp. Most were perching and chasing, and several were stopping to nectar on blackberry. I photographed about twenty individuals, and several dozen more were seen. They were flying with crescents, but they outnumbered the crescents by a large margin.
