Observation notes: Close to noon on a hot Florida day, this is a Papilio palamedes, or Palamedes Swallowtail feeding on the nectar of a potted Asclepia incarnata. The Swamp Milkweed was planted to attract another species of butterfly, but we'll take the picture.
