Observation notes: The butterfly was seen on the way to try to find a Boreal Owl. Feeding on a flower very late in the PM. I must also note with increasing concern that I currently have 13 other sightings pending verification from my CO trip. Some of them are well over 30 days old. It is discouraging, to say the least, when you go to all the trouble to submit sightings and provide the required information to try to add to the knowledge of butterfly distribution in CO and nobody seems to care enough to review them and provide corrections as necessary.
