Dainty Sulphur
Nathalis iole

Observation date: August 18, 2020
Submitted by: DeepSkyKelly
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Very small. Darker (more gray) hindwing, and broader orange patch on the underside of the forewing indicates winter form.
Status: Resident
Verified by: stevecary
Verified date: August 18, 2020
Coordinator notes: thanks for noticing the details of this individual. It does seem a bit different. I see Glassberg (2017) flags the same characters you did and said 'dry season / winter form' which probably can be generalized to 'stressed form' if it's as dry there as it is here . . . .
