Coordinator notes: I can't be absolutely sure but Speyeria coronis snyderi occurs in that part of the state at this time of the year. I was looking at my series of that from Utah earlier today and they look very similar-Ken Davenport. P.S. That is one of the rarest butterflies in the Sierra, though you are north of that-Ken Davenport
