Observation notes: This caterpillar was stuck in an old plastic planter bucket full of dirt (no vegitation). I want to move it to a tree but wanted to identify it. I could try to raise it to adult but don''t know what to feed it.

Coordinator notes: Caterpillars feed on aspen in most areas, some places other poplars. May be near pupating. Will emerge 30 days after pupation.
