Observation notes: This white caught my attention as it appeared less marked from above and more marked from below in comparison with Checkered White. Unfortunately I only managed this single out-of-focus photo. Yet I feel that the yellow veins are a better match for Becker's than for Checkered. According to Nick Lethaby, "Becker's White are a rare to uncommon resident [...] in the upper Santa Ynez River valley in the vicinity of Los Osos campground", which is 30 km away.
