Observation notes: The moth was on the West facing picture window down very low, no more than a foot off the ground. We moved it to the yucca tree 5 feet from the window sill so that our dogs could not get to it. It was about 50 degrees. The moth was in a state of very low energy and took to my finger slowly. It beat its wings only a couple of times and did not attempt to fly off. Once on the yucca it stayed for long enough to observe and take a couple of photographs and some video of it and the surrounding sites for affirmation of location. We left it and it was quivering and within 5 - 10 minutes it had departed. There was some wing wear. The antenna were in perfect condition. Beautiful visitor! If you need video I'm happy to send that along as well. Best, John
