Observation notes: Found on a cool, clear summer night, on a blooming flower cluster in a lavender shrub (also nearby: blooming zinnia, catnip, and lemon balm; non-blooming coleus and oregano). Very calm and relatively still. Willingly stepped onto my hand and then flew onto my shirt and rested for a while. I believe it's a female, as it left a cluster of many tiny white eggs (?) on my shirt.
