Coordinator notes: Certainly not a Lilac-bordered Copper. The underside of L. nivalis is yellow overall with a broad purple band at the end of the hindwings. This is a purplish copper. I reviewed another of your sightings earlier that was L. "helloides" so comments noted with that sighting also apply to this one. Mike
