Observation notes: Flew onto deck of camp near Moffett Beach in NY (Sacandaga / Lake Pleasant area)
nearby plants: maples, spruce, trout lily, bunch berry, azalea, blueberry, ostrich fern, mints, moss, lichens ... common adirondack flora. it was cold/windy the night it was spotted, possibly seeking sheltered spot.
