Observation notes: First observed night of May 10. Layed 8 eggs on vinal door frame. Next morning she had moved about 5 feet to the side of our BBQ grill cover (1st picture). Later in the afternoon, a male flew up and mated with her (2nd picture). He eventually flew off. The next morning she had layed 12 to 15 more eggs on the grill cover and she had fallen to the ground. I thought she was dead and brought her inside. Today, May 15 there is still a very slight flutter of her wings. I have the eggs in a small jar as temperature dipped to 38 overnight.
