Observation notes: 77 clear sky, ground moist from steady light rain one week prior .33- 1.00 in + lot of nectar this little annual and fiddle necks were a favorite, flowers of box thorn were a delight to calif patch and gph also arizona powdered skipper loki liked wet sand moths were every where quite a few of them were arizona p. skippers. a real pain to get a photo of powdered skipper and also this insect guess i should have zoomed was very easily startled dainty sulfurs sleepy orange wrights metal mark queen great purple hs dusky, white checkered skipper. everything will be flowering for months. due to slow steady soaking of ground annuals just getting going good lots of new sprouts. desert black laying eggs on turpentine brooms new sprouts. may post if photo's r ok.
