Observation notes: I found the moth sitting on on of my plants in the backyard, very early in the morning. At first glance, it appeared as just a dried leaf remnant but upon closer inspection I realized it was an animal. It was the first time I had seen one. It did not move, until I lightly touched it with my finger to see if it was alive, then it flew away as a moth.
